To stop Shannan losing her mittens, we stitched a connecting string between each mitten, so that they could drape around the back of her neck when she wasn't wearing them. This worked better, as we weren't always trying to find them! Her fingers have done quite well through the cold and she really loves her turn to warm up her toes on the special heater box!
