Ellie joined our Special Care Unit in August 2010.  Ellie really likes to help the Carers and will bring them a chair to sit on when she sees them standing. She also likes to open the doors for the Carers and children. She has done well with eating pureed food, but has refused to try biting food. She reached another milestone when we recently had a KFC takeout treat for birthdays and to farewell Olivia and Xavier. She watched as the other children eat their nuggets and decided to try it herself. She bit down and ate! We now only have to roughly chop up her food, not puree it.
