An Orphan's Wish: Roots to grow, wings to fly.

Grace entered the Special Care Unit in December 2009. She was born with cleft lip and a very large cleft palate.

Grace responded really well to everyone around her. Anyone who talked to her was rewarded with a smile and she would try to “talk”. She iwas reaching out and grabbing toys around her, and played with anything in her reach.

Although Grace struggled with colds when she first arrived, she had been doing much better lately. She continued to have daily nebulizers and percussion as this really seemed to help her deal with the extra secretions from her large cleft.

Grace moved into Foster Care in August 2010.
