Marcelle arrived at our Special Care Unit in August 2010. She has cleft lip and palate... and a head full of beautiful, black hair!
Marcelle was just over 3 weeks old when she arrived and in need of some special TLC. We started to see the change in her within days, as she settled into feeding well every 2 ½ hours and gaining weight. The good start we saw her make has continued. She is growing like a mushroom – we’ve had to move her up one size in clothing!
We are happy to report in May 2011, Marcelle moved to a foster home and is doing well in the home environment.
