Jacob has cerebral palsy. Until recently Jacob could only get around in a wheelchair – but now he’s walking more and more with a walker! He is becoming more independent which is great to see.
Fortunately the coldest part of winter is over, which means Jacob can go back to walking again. He is also pleased to be back into his shoes, instead of the warm boots. We are continuing to work on his posture. With just a one word reminder he gives a big grin and sits up immediately. He is working very well in class and recently really enjoyed a story about an Astronaut which the teacher read to the class. Jacob continues to enjoy visiting with his friends after school.
