Ruby joined the Residential/CP Unit in early 2006. She has epilepsy and autism.
Winter has slowed down Ruby's walking progress. It had just been too cold for her to be practicing outside. However, now that the weather is starting to warm up, we can get her moving again. She just loves trying to push herself around in her wheelchair and is really enjoys being more mobile. Ruby is very responsive to interactions with the Carers and the children. When they pay her compliments; she smiles and gets excited as she understands what they are saying to her.
