Rylie left early morning on the March 19, 2012 to take the train to the capital city to meet her Forever Family. She was very excited and we have since heard that she is settling in very well. We celebrated Rylie's birthday and had a farewell lunch for her the Friday before she left. The kids all had a great time celebrating with her. Before she left, Rylie gave instructions to Cassie (one of her roommates) to make sure that she looked after Lyn (her other roommate).
Rylie (now Addie) came home with her family to the Midwest in the Spring of 2012 and doing fabulously well. Her mom writes that she is going to school and playing soccer. Doctors were impressed with the results of her surgery in China and with her adjustment to her new family. Prayers answered.
