Tina has cerebral palsy and uses a wheelchair to get around. Winter has been long for Tina - we needed to monitor her closely as she often gets achy legs because of her contractures. Fortunately we are able to keep her comfortable with some medication. She really likes to earn the Gold level in the award system. Tina tries hard to be as consistent as she can, so she can earn the money award. She is learning the value of things and enjoys planning her next possible purchase. She is getting better at playing the Wii and gets excited at her wins.

She really loves the Wii – especially playing golf!! She can use the control well, as it doesn’t depend on fine motor skills and gets a thrill out of hitting the balls. It’s wonderful to see.
